Used Motorhomes for Sale ‚ Finding and Buying the Different Types

Used motorhomes can be purchased either from online sites or local dealers. However, there are a few points to consider before committing to your purchase. It is important to take part in comparison shopping by visiting several dealers or websites. The buyer should also decide whether they are interested in a Class A, B or C motorhome which denotes the various sizes. Fifth wheel motorhomes are cheaper as they don’t have a self propelled engine and are positioned onto the back of pick-up trucks. Another type is the used pop-up motorhome which also doesn’t include an engine, and is meant to be towed by another vehicle. Elite Motorhomes provides more information and offers new and used motorhomes for sale as well as motorhome rentals. For more on the story, click here:

Need Help in Choosing A Motorhome for Sale?

Motorhomes have increased in popularity in the UK over the last few decades and here are some points to consider when purchasing one. The cost of buying a motorhome can vary according to such factors as, whether it is new or used, its size and features. Motorhomes will usually come in sizes dependent on whether they are Class A, B or C with A being the largest. As Classes B, C are usually smaller, these motorhomes will be easier to manoeuvre and are recommended for beginner motorhome drivers. Storage should also be considered as larger motorhomes may have to be stored in a rented space when not being used, which adds to the annual cost. Also, whether purchasing the motorhome from a dealership or private owner, due diligence is advised and ensuring you ask all the necessary questions. Elite Motorhomes currently have a number of used motorhomes for sale as well as motorhomes available to hire. For more on the story, click here:

Online campsite software

Campstead Ltd creator, Andrew Norris is investing £160,000 on his online campsite business software. The web based solution allows caravan and camping site owners to manage their bookings more efficiently through an automatically produced statistical reports and accounts system. However, as use of the CampStead system requires a long term commitment from the campsite owner, the website shall need to improve its marketing to attract a large number of campsite owners. Nonetheless, the web based solution proves to be an excellent way for campers to find and book camp sites online. For more on the story, click here:

Camping and caravanning on the up!

The Office for National Statistics have revealed camping trips have increased by 29% this year and are quickly becoming one of the most popular types of British holidays. As a result, large UK department stores have also seen a significant rise in sales of camping equipment. Camping holidays appeal to budget conscious holiday makers as they are cheaper than a holiday abroad and provide families with a bonding experience and a chance to explore nature. Devon is among popular camping destinations as its seaside resorts and rolling countryside offers several activities for families, as well as providing accommodation at a number of campsites. Caravanning – significant contributor to the UK economy:

Studies have shown that Caravanning is a major contributor to the UK’s economy. Recent figures have come to light showing that members of the UK Caravan Club alone spend in excess of £400 million in local economies each and every year, and the Caravan Club has compiled a list of the top ten caravanning hotspots. It is in these idyllic places where caravanners are spending over £30 million annually in areas defined by parliamentary constituency boundaries. Sitting proudly at the top of the list is North Norfolk. It brings in over £4.5 million every year from the caravanners who stay at The Club’s three sites and fifty six Certified Locations (CLs) in this one constituency. Local MP Normal Lamb said “This demonstrates how important caravanning is to the local economy and underlines the enormous significance of tourism in general. We have a wonderful location, and what better place to come as a caravanner than North Norfolk. There are some very impressive Caravan Club sites, close to wonderful unspoilt coastline, and an extraordinary array of smaller Club CLs, which are a great attraction for people wanting to get away from it all. I’m thrilled that North Norfolk has taken the number one spot, but not entirely surprised!” Nick Lomas, The Club’s Director General, sent a personal letter to each MP, explaining how important the Caravan Club is in terms of the country’s economy. He also included an invitation for a Caravan Club site of their choice, to encourage them to experience caravanning for themselves. To read more click on the link below:
