Built on the Volkswagen Crafter, the Sunlight IBEX 4×4 combines all-wheel-drive capability with clever campervan design. It’s bold, distinctive and created for people whose adventures don’t always follow the road.
And on Friday 25 September, the IBEX will be here at Elite Motorhomes.
Meet the Sunlight IBEX 4×4
The IBEX started life as an exciting Sunlight concept.
Following extensive development and some serious adventures along the way, including testing in Iceland, the concept has evolved into a production campervan.
At its heart is the Volkswagen Crafter.
The IBEX 604D combines a 163hp engine, automatic transmission and 4×4 all-wheel drive. At just under six metres long, it offers a compact footprint while providing the capability adventurous owners are looking for.
The exterior certainly looks the part too.
Distinctive IBEX graphics give the campervan its own unmistakable identity. Meanwhile, an available off-road package adds 18-inch off-road tyres and a Light Bar for even more presence.
Rugged outside. Clever inside.
While the exterior is ready for adventure, Sunlight hasn’t forgotten about comfort.
A specially developed raised roof provides an impressive 1.98 metres of interior standing height.
At the rear, widened body sections allow Sunlight to fit a transverse double bed measuring 200 x 136cm.
There’s also an innovative pull-out refrigerator. Cleverly, you can access it from both inside and outside the campervan. That’s ideal when you’re cooking outdoors or simply want to grab a cold drink without stepping inside.
Elsewhere, you’ll find a practical bathroom with a folding washbasin, a comfortable living area and kitchen, plus the technology of the VW cab.
Designed for adventures beyond the campsite
The Sunlight IBEX 4×4 is aimed at people who want more from their campervan.
It’s for mountain bikers heading in search of the next trail.
